The steel boned corsets can pull your waist in by 4-5’’ but it is not necessary to wear them so tightly. A corset of this kind that is sized as "30" ( in case your waist size is 34-35") will go no smaller than 30" when the back of the corset is fully closed. All garments in this category have 6" modesty panels.
